A rough little game built in 48 hours. The mechanics are dead simple, but it's weirdly addictive and rage-inducing at the same time — friends who tried it kept sending me screenshots of 30, 40 attempts in a row. To keep it playable in the browser I went with a 2.5D pseudo-3D approach, which cut down dev time significantly. I spent most of the time tuning the feel: enemy behavior patterns, timing, frequency. I also wrote a bunch of FPS-flavored taunts and hype lines that pop up at round-end in Chinese mode. Ended up being a hit with a lot of friends.
